Did you ever need to convert a .tex into a .docx? Well, this can be done using pandoc.
Simply run the command:
pandoc -f latex -t docx -i original_document.tex -o converted_document.docx
Now that’s well and good, but if you have bibliography it gets kinda tricky.
First move the bibliography file (.bib) to the same folder and then run:
pandoc --bibliography=bibliography.bib -f latex -t docx -i original_document.tex -o converted_document.docx --citeproc
This will autogenerate a your bibliography.
If you wish to change the references style you’ll need to download a .csl file. (Search in the Citation Style Language Repository).
For example, if you wish to use the IEEE style, download the file ieee.csl, and then run:
pandoc --bibliography=bibliography.bib -f latex -t docx -i original_document.tex -o converted_document.docx --citeproc --csl=ieee.csl
